SIT40422 Certificate IV in Hospitality
This qualification is designed for individuals who aspire to work as supervisors in hospitality organisations, including restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
This qualification is directly aligned with priority industry areas where jobs are today, and into the future. As part of the state government Lower fees, local skills initiative, from 1 January 2020 through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the tuition fees (plus resource fee) capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession. The SIT40422 Certificate IV in Hospitality is ideal for you if want to be a supervisor in the exciting Hospitality Industry. Completing this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to operate a busy restaurant or coffee shop.
You will learn financial management, monitoring the work of the team, managing workplace conflict, as well as practical skills of making excellent coffee, non-alcoholic beverages and Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Training takes place in North Regional TAFE's purpose built Hospitality Training Centre, providing real life experiences for students to work in a busy restaurant or cafe.
