Waxing, Lash and Brow Skill Set
This Skill Set offers you the outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide waxing services for removing unwanted facial and body hair, as well as lash and brow services that include shaping and tinting to meet your clients' needs.
It requires the ability to consult with clients to select suitable wax, lash, and brow products and equipment for providing these services. The Waxing, Lash, and Brow services can be performed individually or as part of a series of treatments to meet client needs.

This Skill Set is recommended for beauticians and beauty therapists who work in beauty, hair removal salons or spas. In this environment they make routine decisions within a defined range. During this Skill Set you will learn a range of topics including:
- Importance of consultation
- Basic anatomy of the skin and hair growth
- Alternative waxes used on the body and face
- Correct method of waxing full body and brow shaping
- How to use tweezers to shape brows and depilate unwanted hairs
- How to use tints on lashes and brows and the removal process
- Contraindications to treatments
