This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to safely remove and relocate snakes in the home and workplace.

  • Snake and reptile behaviour
  • Utilising protective clothing and equipment
  • Catching and releasing venomous species in a supervised setting
  • Keeping yourself and others safe in the presence of dangerous snakes
  • Administering first aid for bites and stings
*Please note; Short Courses are non-accredited and result in a Certificate of Participation. A non-accredited training course does not count-towards a recognised qualification, but is specially designed to provide hands-on training in a new skill you can use in your personal or professional life, and is a great way to refresh your knowledge or give you a taste of a different industry.

To attend this course, you must be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long trousers and covered footwear.
