Gain credit for your pre-existing skills
We recognise that people gain skills and knowledge in a variety of ways. Many highly skilled people have developed their abilities through pathways other than formal education, such as paid employment, community work, volunteering and informal training.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) provides you with an opportunity to have your pre-existing skills recognised in a nationally accredited system. You could then be eligible to gain partial or full credit for your pre-existing skills, helping to fast-track your qualification. As part of the RPL process, an assessor will work with you to identify whether your skills meet industry standards, and if any further training is required.

You can prepare for your talk by gathering any documentary evidence you may have to support your claim, including job descriptions, records of employment, references from employers and any other relevant details.
